I bought a truck from Auto Nation after a test drive. Normally, I would not buy a used vehicle without having it checked out by a COMPENTENT repair facility but the dealership has a 5 day 250 mile return policy. The day after I took delivery of the truck I dropped it off at Pro Auto Care and briefly spoke to Al Oramas the owner of that shop and another in Littleton. (Pro Auto Care was kind enough to work the truck in even though I hadn't made a scheduled appointment). The inspection was complete within a couple of hours and Anthony Jafari, one of the service advisors called me with some disappointing news, The thorough inspection (6 pages) found over $4,600 worth of necessary repairs and maintenance required for the truck. The dealer reluctantly returned my $10,826. Had I not taken the vehicle to Pro Auto Care, the needed repairs may have resulted in a breakdown, but at least an expensive trip to a repair shop. Please learn from my experience. Take your prospective purchase to Al's shop for a thorough inspection BEFORE you pay any person or business for a vehicle. I was lucky that the dealership offered the satisfaction guarantee because if they hadn't, I would have learned a very expensive lesson.
